Lessons
Here’s a link with some information I’ve written about some of the different types of private music tuition services I currently offer. This information is intended purely as a guideline as all of my lessons are unique and bespoke to student requirements.
I can also offer custom lesson types to suit your requirements including group lessons, half- or full-day master sessions, week-long intensive courses in areas of your choosing, monthly mentoring sessions and more.
Students are welcome to visit me in my home studio in Willesden Green, North West London or to take the lessons online via Zoom. A mixture of the two is also possible.

Information
I started teaching guitar in 2005 when a member of the audience asked for lessons! I am currently Principal Guitar Instructor for the contemporary music department at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Teaching guitar has been my full-time job since 2007, during which time I’ve taught for companies and music services including Lick Library, Guitar Interactive Magazine, the International Guitar Foundation (IGF), Ministry of Guitar, the Canned Performance Company, Key to Music, The Rhythm Studio, London School of Music, Music in Offices, Tri-Borough Music Service, Brent Music Service and Dorset Music Service. I have completed over 15,000 hours of teaching guitar in one-to-one and small group scenarios, as well as over 1,000 hours of online tuition during 2020 alone!
Qualifications and Other Information
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and hold a BMus Degree in Popular Music Performance on which I specialised in modern guitar styles, as well as a Level 6 Licentiate Diploma in Music Teaching. I also have an up-to-date full-disclosure DBS certificate and have completed an NSPCC Child Protection and Welfare certificate course; all are viewable on request. I can provide references if you’re a parent who’d like to speak to other parents about their child’s experiences learning with me prior to booking lessons.
