I offer Private Audition Preparation Session in North West London. I have a huge amount of experience at preparing children and young adults for auditions, both for academic placements and roles in musical theatre.
Student Success Stories
After intensive lessons over a two year period studying jazz harmony, chord melody playing and sight reading together, my student Ethan Davey was recently offered a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He headed to the USA in September 2018 as part of a three-year degree program.

Recently two of my students, Selma Hansen and Oscar Rice, landed spots in the West End production of School of Rock after successful auditions following preparatory lessons with me. In particular, Selma (who was a young guitar player) was asked to audition for the part of bass player and took intensive lessons with me over a two week period leading up to the auditions to familiarise herself with the instrument; she subsequently went on to not only land the part but was also performing as a member of the cast that won the 2017 Outstanding Achievement in Music Olivier award.

Qualifications and Other Information
I hold a BMus Degree in Popular Music Performance on which I specialised in modern guitar styles, as well as a Level 6 Licentiate Diploma in Music Teaching. I also have an up-to-date full-disclosure DBS certificate and have completed an NSPCC Child Protection and Welfare certificate course; all are viewable on request. I can provide references if you’re a parent who’d like to speak to other parents about their child’s experiences learning with me prior to booking lessons.
